The Times: Is flying in the USA more dangerous than before?
“Crashes are a shocking thing whenever they happen,” says Todd Curtis, former risk analyst at Boeing and founder of the aviation safety site Airsafe. “But the fact of the matter is over the last few decades not just in the United States but around the world the rate of accidents for major large jet airliners has dropped precipitously around the world.”
